THERAPY
STRENGTH provides Physical Therapy services for many orthopedic issues and disorders. We truly focus on each individual, whether it be a post surgical patient, a weekend warrior, an athlete with an overuse injury, or a simple every day ache or pain.
No matter the ailment, a physical therapist will treat you until you have reached your personal goal and are pain free and moving the way you need to be moving!
RETURN TO SPORTS REHAB
STRENGTH's staff is comprised of athletes. We know how important it is to get back in the game after an injury. We are dedicated to getting you healthy as quickly as possible and hopefully in even better shape and at a higher performance level than before. Our rehab protocols are designed to safely and appropriately accelerate the process, the same protocols used by some of the world’s most elite athletes.
SPORTS ENHANCEMENT
STRENGTH has world-class athletes who know how to take an athlete to the next level in their specific sport and reach their full potential. We offer individual training programs and sports specific or goal specific group programs. Our professionals will work hand in hand with a Doctor of Physical Therapy to develop a program to not only strengthen your body's capabilities but also to prevent injuries based on the demands your sport puts on your body.
INJURY PREVENTION
STRENGTH understands every sport is vastly different and puts different demands on the body. We have researched and taken the most common injuries within a specific sport and developed a preseason screen to identify risk factors that could make you vulnerable to these injuries. Research has shown common muscle imbalances and flexibility issues increase an athlete’s chance of suffering an injury. STRENGTH has developed screens meant to detect these issues so the athlete can be issued an individualized program to correct the concerns before it is too late.
PERSONAL TRAINING
You do not need to be an athlete to experience the benefits of STRENGTH’s team of trainers and specialists. Whether you want to get back in shape or just attain that healthy lifestyle that we all covet, our staff can help you achieve your goals, while you have fun doing it! After discussing your goals with a trainer, we will develop a program that is just right for YOU. Individual and group programs are available.

What to Expect
Your first Physical Therapy appointment will be your initial evaluation. To help us best assess you and your ailment it is advised you wear loose fitting clothing and comfortable shoes. When you arrive you will be greeted by our Office Manager and will then fill out the necessary paper work required for treatment. This is why we ask you to come 10-15 minutes early for your first appointment.
Once taken back, the therapist will talk with you to obtain all your past history and detailed information of your current injury to help us better understand your issues.
After taking your subjective history, you will then begin your objective examination including ROM measurements, manual muscle testing and a series of diagnostic tests specific to your condition. In most cases you will then initiate some nature of treatment.
To conclude the appointment, your therapist will discuss with you home management techniques and your individual plan of care designed to get you feeling and moving better.
Remember to ask any questions you feel are necessary during your visit!
Insurance & Billing
At STRENGTH we accept a variety of different insurance plans (listed below.) While taking your insurance information over the phone, we will then call your insurance company and verify your individual benefits and eligibility for physical therapy treatment. This will be discussed with you when you arrive for your initial evaluation. Feel to free to call us anytime to confirm coverage for your specific plan!

Direct Access in Ohio allows patients to schedule their appointment and be seen by a therapist without a doctors script. However, even though most insurances recognize this practice there are still a few that require a doctor’s script for treatment. Again, feel free to call us and we will inform you of your specific plans requirements. We also offer out of pocket services. These will be billed at individual rates depending on the treatment required for your specific condition.
If you do not see your insurance on this list, please give us a call.
